At Egomoov (collectively “Egomoov”, “we” “us” or “our”) we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and security. This privacy policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by Egomoov as provided to us directly, or which we may obtain from other sources.

Egomoov collects the details provided by you on registration together with the information we learn about you from your transactions. Additional information can be collected through information you provide when giving us feedback, completing forms, using promotional codes or registering conflicts.
The data you provide would ordinarily include, but is not limited to, your name, home address, home / personal mobile number, email address, login name and password, cookies, pixel tags, IP address, the browser used, language settings, user activity logs, and website visitor interaction data, billing/banking details, and any special instructions (if applicable) when you choose to engage the services provided by Egomoov. Depending on the services that you use, and your device settings or permissions, we may collect your location information as determined through data such as your mobile network, GPS and IP address.
We receive transaction details when you use our services, including the type of services you ordered, delivery details, date and time the service is provided, the amounts charged, the distances traveled, and your method of payment.
Our various platforms enable you and the driver to communicate with each other, by way of a call or text. This information can be used by us for among other things, customer support services, safety and security purposes, to improve our services, or for marketing purposes.
If you are a driver, Egomoov can collect location information from you when the Egomoov website or application is running in the foreground or the background of your device. In addition, if you are a driver, Egomoov may also collect your criminal record information where permitted by law.
Please note that if you refuse to accept cookies from Egomoov you might not be able to access portions of our services.
Where necessary to fulfill certain obligations, we shall disclose your personal data to certain third-parties, vendors and service providers or affiliated employees, contractors and entities that we engage with directly or that function separately in order to provide you with the Egomoov services. This would usually include financial institutions, payment service providers, advertisers, location maps/services, insurance providers, affiliates and subsidiaries of Egomoov. We do not sell, rent nor share your data without your consent, or without a feature allowing you an opt-in or opt-out.
We will release your data if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good-faith that such action is necessary to comply with local laws.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is relevant to its intended use, is accurate, and complete. Egomoov uses reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your data. Only authorised persons are permitted to access your data, and this is done in the course of their work. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the exclusive and absolute security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Using unsecured Wi-Fi or other unprotected networks to submit messages is also not recommended, as this will also compromise your security.
We will retain your data for as long as we deem it necessary to enable you to use our services, to provide our services to you, whether we have a legal obligation to store it (for example, for accounting purposes or for litigation, dispute resolution, or regulatory investigations purposes), and otherwise as necessary to allow us to conduct our business, including to detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities. All the data we retain will be subject to this Privacy Policy.
We take the security of your personal data seriously and have implemented appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If we learn of such a breach, we will attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We also reserve the right to post a general notice on Egomoov’s platforms if a security breach occurs.
You have the right to access and request the correction of any personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal restrictions.
